The B50 community was born in the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russian troops. It was at this time that the future co-founders of the organisation met at the headquarters of the Territorial Defense in Kyiv. The headquarters had a codified address – B50, which is where the name of the community came from.

B50 was one of the first teams to join the effort to help the residents of the newly liberated Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, and Vorzel. Since April 2022, we have been organising weekly mass volunteer events in Borodianka, Irpin, Makariv, Horenka, Moshchun and other localities in the region. The civilian activities of the B50 community combine assistance to residents of liberated and frontline communities in several related areas, as well as media projects in Ukraine and abroad.

The B50 Frontier organisation is a separate part of the B50 community and unites the areas of work related to helping the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The B50 Frontier volunteers, as part of separate teams (volunteer groups), produce camouflage nets, trench candles, drones, and batteries for a variety of drones, from small FPVs to reconnaissance Leleka-100. Additionally, the organisation raises funds for the needs of the units with which we cooperate in our main areas of activity. We do not match the scale of large foundations, but our philosophy is to help and support small amounts that are necessary and have a big impact on the combat capability and morale of individual units.
